In the living room of the NUUB "St. Kliment Ohridski" - Bitola, the third workshop of the project "Bibliotherapy, Poetry Therapy and Anti-Stress Therapy" was held today, which is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Macedonia.

The workshop was led by Natasha Bekirova, a graduate psychologist, systemic and family counselor under supervision, who directed this meeting towards remembering the books that contributed to our personal shaping. Each participant had the opportunity to talk about the book that they remember as the most influential in a certain period of their life. Thus, in this workshop we tried to recognize the “lights on the road” – the books that left a lasting mark on our lives and that shaped us as individuals.

Each of us has our own life path filled with challenges, joys, ups and downs. On that journey, we have often been accompanied by books – silent friends who have given us comfort, hope, strength or wisdom. Some books have taught us to look deeper within ourselves, others have inspired us to dream bigger dreams, and still others have helped us find the right direction when we felt lost.

The library director, Emilija Stefanovska-Davkova, MA, also addressed the audience, stating:

"Our goal is not only to remember the works that shaped us, but also to discover how those books still live within us – in our choices, thoughts, and dreams. The library is a place where everyone can find their peace, their free medicine."

Coordinators of the project:

Gordana Gjorgievska Nedelkovski, MA, Senior Librarian

Fatma Bajram Azemovska, MA, Head of Department, Librarian Advisor
