INTERLIBRARY LOANS

For its members, the Library borrows documents (books, journal articles, patents, standards, etc.) from libraries abroad through the interlibrary loan system.

In the interlibrary loan service, the user submits a written request with accurately and legibly stated bibliographic data for the document being requested: author(s); title; title of the journal (for articles); year and place of publication, volume; issue; number of pages, etc. data that identifies the document (e.g. ISSN or ISBN number).

 

The librarian suggests the most favorable option for faster and more economical receipt of the document. The user independently decides on the choice. Orders usually arrive in 10-20 days. The interlibrary loan service immediately notifies the user of the arrival of the document, and he picks it up from the Library himself. In this case, the user pays the costs for the service according to the invoices received and the Library's price list.
